Usage Experience/ Review of Maybelline Clean Express Total Clean Eye & Lip Makeup Remover :
Maybelline Clean Express Total Clean Eye & Lip Makeup Remover is a good product which certainly does what it claims. It cleans makeup effectively and this includes waterproof mascara. I’ve used it with gel liners, kajals, matte lipsticks , eye shadows etc and have found that it does remove most of them in one swipe. What I usually do is apply a few drops of the Remover on the area I want to clean and let the product seep in a little and then I take a bit of Remover on a soft makeup pad or wool and wipe the area. This trick works best for stubborn makeup items like gel liners and waterproof kajals . Post cleaning I did feel a bit of greasy residue on my skin and I had to use a foaming cleanser to make my skin clean.
The makeup remover cleans matte and staining lip products easily. I’ve tried it on with Mac Ruby Woo and Maybelline lip products like The Maybelline Bold Matte lipsticks and it removed both of them effectively. Though for removing the Ruby woo stains I had to give a bit of effort.
Pros and Cons of Maybelline Clean Express Total Clean Eye & Lip Makeup Remover :
- Easily Available
- Cleans Waterproof Makeup Effectively
- Priced is Affordable
- Travel Friendly
- Attractive Packaging
- Leaves an oily layer after removal
- Stung my sister’s eyes (She has very sensitive skin)
Final Words :
Makeup Removers are a must for anyone who wears Makeup on a daily basis. This makeup remover works perfectly to remove matte, stubborn and waterproof makeup easily. It does leave a bit of residue on my skin but it surely does what it’s supposed to do. I have removed waterproof Mascara with ease . But I hate the oily residue it gives.
I’m feeling so sad lately as I’m again down with Pox and I’m really feeling trapped in my house, I missed my Bestie’s wedding and reception for which I had planned for the last three months.
I even bought an anarlali salwar just three days before I fell ill , so you can say it’s been a hell of a week for me.
I had planned to do a OOTD for the wedding but I feel sorry for not being able to.
