Valentines Day inspired makeup look

Hello Girls,

I’m sure you are super excited about Valentine’s Day. Well, I’m not excited much, as we both believe that Every Day should be Valentine’s Day and since today is our Anniversary we both celebrate today as Valentine’s Day. Actually I’ve got a favor to ask you all – have you ever felt this way , that you are super excited about some special day, but your significant other half just takes it casually ?? Butttt . . I really wish they would understand why we’re so excited  ..(I’m blabbering too much )

Today I wanted to show you a Quick Valentines Day inspired makeup look I came up with two days back .

I used Simple Products so that you can easily create this look , even at the last minute. The look will hardly take 5 to 10 minutes to complete so I guess all of you will find it handy . Strangely after the look was complete , I realised I used all maybelline or Lakme Products (Strange isn’t it :P )

Valentine’s Day inspired makeup look :

You can easily get this look in 6 easy steps, which means you can easily get this look in five to ten minutes flat. We have used simple products for the look, so that even beginners can get the look without having to buy new stuff.

Step 1 : Moisturise Your Skin

Start off with Moisturising your skin . I used Lakme Perfect radiance Intense Whitening Light Crème as my moisturiser after my Regular cleanser and toner. using a Moisturiser is important a it keeps your skin hydrated and feeling supple for long. I have oily combination skin and I feel this works good in Winters.

Step 2 : Apply Tinted Lotion or CC Cream

I used Lakme CC Cream as my base . For this simple look I did not use primer underneath but you can use a Primer to prime your face and the apply the lakme CC cream or any other light tinted moisturiser . I love the effect of the Lakme CC cream and that it simply vanishes into my skin. The shade I used was Bronze and it suited my tanned (Due to A Visit To The Beach) skin well. When you apply this , make sure you blend it in. It is necessary to have dry skin hydrated as I’ve seen this CC cream emphsize the dry patches of skin.

Step 3 : Use your Eye Liner and Kajal

I used Lakme Absolute Precision Liquid Liner to line my eyes. It’s my favorite eye liner these days due to it’s super dark formula and the glossy finish afterwards. I love my Maybelline Eye Studio lasting Drama Gel Liner too so you can definitely use your gel liners for the eyes. I used Lakme Eyeconic Kajal in Black to line my waterline and you can use your favorite Kohl or liner to line your eyes. Make a slight wing near the outer corner of your eyes with your gel liner or any liner you are using. .

Step 4 : Use Mascara

I used my favorite Mascara from maybelline , Maybelline The Colossal Volum Express Mascara in black to apply a few generous coats of mascara . I used the mascara brush to slightly curl my lashes uupwards, but you can use a curler too.

Step 5 :Use a Blush

I used Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush in Fresh Coral on the apples of my face and used it to give a bit of  color to my face. I used Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman Stippling Brush to apply but you may use any Blush brush . Start from the apple of your cheeks till the hairline. Also use on the two sides of your forehead.

Step 6 : Wear Your Bold Pink Lip Color

Choose a bold lip color from your pink lipsticks. I chose Maybelline Bold Matte Mat 1 as my lipstick as it’s a pink with a little bit of warmness and looks really pretty for a Date. I applied it generously over my exfoliated lips. (though the shade settled into the fine lines even after being exfoliated) . You can minimize thi by using something live Vaseline/ Boroline overnight and then using a soft brush to exfoliate your lips. You can als go for Maybelline Pink Alert lipstick in Pow 2 which is more of a blue based bright pink.  If you don’t have any of these use any bright pink lipstick you have. For a more glossy lips use a coat of clea gloss on top to make it even more girly. Since I already have fuller lips I avoided the gloss.
